Jobi and the Magic Collar Book Reviews

From Jeanette JOY Fisher

The first book in a series of seven teaching children to take time to be in tune with nature, Jobi and the Magic Collar introduces eight-year-old Grace and her chocolate labrador Jobi. Besides being an entertaining book to read to young children, Jobi encourages kids to listen and to be aware. Teachers love this interactive read-a-long book.

The adorable characters inspire children to be kind, so important in today’s culture. My grandchildren (ages 5 & 8) enjoyed reading the book together. I think children who love dogs will relate to Jobi and will want to read the entire series.

I personally Love this story. This is a great story about a dog named JOBI and his magic collar. JOBI imparts words of wisdom, teaching important life lessons to BE AWARE, PAY ATTENTION, LISTEN, to SEE BEAUTY and to FEEL LOVE. Parents, grandparents, and teachers will enjoy the intimate participation, keeping read along interactive stories alive and fun to read. As I share this book, Children are coming to Love JOBI and this wonderful story leaving the reader to wonder; can JOBI talk because of the collar, or could he talk all along? A great gift for families and teachers with children ages 5-11.
