The artwork is very much like Eric Carle. Looks great.
Oh, Playmate is perfect to read to babies and for beginning readers. Children of all ages appreciate the art. The book has been used to teach art classes to children up to ten years old.

All the artwork is by Elise Fisher Woodward who is an artist and author of children’s art books and an art teacher. She’s my daughter.
My daughter does her own illustrations in her books as well as for other authors. I just write and faux paint walls occasionally.
Very cool Jeanette, didn’t know you wrote children’s books too. Although quite different, the cover illustration reminds me of Swimmy.

We publish many authors. This website is just getting populated with new books. The ones published by Family Trust Publishing are being reformatted, edited, and reprinted. My books will be up on this site soon.
